Ultimate Staffing is seeking a Test Technician to join a client in Milpitas. This is a temp to hire position. The role is 100% onsite. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

Job Description:

· Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment.

· May complete general mechanical assembly of automated equipment

· Reads blueprints and schematics to understand the technical requirements of assembly

· Follow and use industrial electrical wiring standards

· Uses hand tools and power tools to mount, assemble and provide simple fabrication and modification of equipment

· Documents configuration changes for incorporation on future assemblies

· May perform general tasks including; assembly, cleanup, disassembly and shipment packing, maintenance, etc.

· Understanding of machine functionality, assembly, and repair

· Demonstrates efficiency, accuracy and communicates effectively with others in a team environment

· Occasional machine construction facility i.e. wiring/running cable, test power-up, verify functionality of machine

Required Skills:

· Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and experience using hand tools and power tools

· Understanding of electrical/mechanical devices

· Experience with assembly of high precision mechanical systems

· Positive attitude and dependability, with the desire to learn and contribute in a team environment

· Computer applications proficiency (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

Preferred Skills

· Possess a high degree of electrical and mechanical aptitude

· Experience in electrical maintenance

· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
